Contractors interested in becoming a TrustMark approved supplier

The HVCA became one of the first trade associations to be appointed a scheme operator under the Government-inspired TrustMark initiative. The TrustMark concept has been established to help consumers ensure that the trades-people they employ in their homes are reliable, competent and fully capable of providing a quality service at a fair price.

There are two routes via the HVCA to TrustMark registration:

The first is by becoming an HVCA member. This allows firms to take advantage of the wide range of services provided by the Association – in particular, the free six-year warranty on domestic installations that complies with the criteria established by TrustMark.

The second is by undergoing the same inspection and assessment regime as that required for HVCA membership, but without taking up that membership. This method of TrustMark registration does not allow access to the HVCA’s member benefits package (which includes the free six-year warranty).

In order to progress your application, you should complete and return either an HVCA membership application form or a completed TrustMark registration form.
