What sets HVCA members apart?

The HVCA is the UK's leading professional body for building engineering services contractors.

Founded in 1904, it adds value to members' businesses by providing quality services, promoting excellence and shaping the commercial environment through representation and leadership.

The HVCA represents the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (hvacr) products and equipment.

HVCA members are subject to regular, third-party inspection and assessment to ensure their technical and commercial competence.

Members benefit from access to a wide range of services, which are carefully tailored to their needs, and which help them to build better and more profitable businesses. All HVCA members are subject to a thorough Inspection & Assessment process carried out by an independent third party every three years.

Introduced in 2003, this process reinforced membership of the HVCA as a true 'badge of quality'.

The association is also leading the sector's efforts to deliver a more sustainable built environment through technical guidance, training and supporting new ways of working.
